It's time to announce a Merinori MYO contest!
I'm very happy to hear how much people like my species Merinoris so I wanted to
announce a Merinori MYO contest for everyone who are interested to join!

I will also hold a separated raffle for some MYO tickets! So two different ways to gain a Merinori
AND if you are lucky enough, you can win BOTH OF THEM!

You have to design a new Merinori for yourself to adopt and your entry will compete with the others to be the best new design! This event allows you to use ANY of the existing traits for Merinori from the traits sheet with any amount of traits (and I recommend to add all traits what you want or know you might want in the future cuz by then it will cost you extra, now it will be free if you win.)!
I will then pick my favorite based on effort, looks (how things match, not your skill level) and creativity! My favorite MYO design will get to keep their Merinori for FREE and other participants can keep their designs by paying half of the price of a Merinori MYO ticket (Reduced price is: 5$ - 500
)

1 Winner will get MYO ticket TIER 1

Tier 1 MYO. This ticket allows you to create a Merinori without appearance additions (meaning no wings, no tails, no insect limbs, no feather butt, no halos, no horns)
Tier 2 MYO. This ticket allows you to create a Merinori with one appearance additions - Common/Rare (Pick one: Wings, tail (if kemonomimi), insect hands (if Insect fairy), feather butt, halo or horns.)
Tier 3 MYO. This ticket allows you to create a Merinori with all appearance additions - All Rarities! (or any amount you want)

MYO DESIGN CONTEST WINNER

Picking the winner was super hard but I think this entry shined through because of all of the extras and details on the entry. I can see amazing effort put in it even if its done with a sketchy style.The coloring is on point and the entry isn't too messy for a sketchy art. Beautiful color combinations (prolly not the most common palette). I really like the originality and personality on this entry.
All other entries are available for 1 week to purchase with the reduced MYO tier 3 ticket price $5 - 500

Merinori is a humanoid aquatic creature that was oriented from the east seas of mother Earth.
Merinoris are often seen as a mermaid fairies or mermaid kemonomimis but have also human form when they decide to visit the land.
Their appearance on their mermaid tail and wings are often based on butterflies or other insects.
Merinoris are also categorized in two groups called Mer, a Merinori that have pointy fairy like ears and insect like antennas.
Then there is Nor, a Merinori that have kemonomimi ears of different animal species.

All Merinoris can change form for living in the sea and living on the land. Their envorinment difference will change their appearance a bit.
Some Merinoris gain more appearance features when they are off the sea and some lose features.
For example; Nor form Merinoris appear to have a matching tail to their pair of animal ears and some Mers have insect limbs or tails.

Merinoris are spiritual creatures who posses magic due being able to connect to the spirits called Gaia.
They have a forehead symbol that is is believed to be the connection portal to the Gaia living inside all of them and all other living things.

MYO CONTEST
What is this contest about?

- Be a member (not only a watcher) of our fan group ) Not needed if your entry is via FA and you do not have a dA account
- You can enter by drawing your desired Merinori design either from the sketch or by using a base (no bases provided by me, I use base by Pikiru for my Merinori designs so you can get that off her page if you wish to design similar chibis to my Merinoris)
- You can design either Mermaid or Human form OR show both in one character sheet.
- You can design either a chibi or full body BUT it has to be colored. Even non shaded coloring is fine as LONG as it shows somehow the color theme.
- You can use any of the traits show on this SPECIES SHEET (NOTICE: Insect limbs and Tails can NOT be added to a MERMAID form. Use those only for human form. Feather butts can be used on both forms tho. Bunny tail is missing from the sheet, but it's just a small pom!)
- Only one character per person! (you can enter the MYO raffle to try to get a hold of another MYO ticket)
- Submit your ready entry to your Deviantart or FurAffinity page and provide a link for your entry under this journal comments!
- Your entry should be titled MYO Merinori Entry and add this to the description ''This character was designed for Merinori MYO contest that is held by
. Check it out here: Merinori MYO Contest + Raffle!'' - I will add your entry to the Merinori-Onsen group and you have to accept the request from your correspondence messages (unless it's via FA)!
- ONE winner will be chosen by me on the 20th of November! (you got 1 week ;3)
- After the winner has been chosen and IF you didn't win, you can keep your MYO Merinori by paying me 5$ - 500 (half of the price of TIER 3 MYO ticket price normally!) OR you can delete the character from your submissions and you can not use it. You will have 1 week to pay it before I ask you to delete it so I hope that helps~!
