[CLOSED] MerMay Merinoris

Ah they are finally here ; v ;/ I've been working on these for quite some time now and i'm so happy to show them to u guys finally! Yes, they are Merinoris! Been forever since last one! haha~ I wanted to try a different style chibi that suits better for mermaids. The size on 2 was originally what I was going for and I saw that DesireeU had made this amazing mermaid base with such cute poses and similar body size to my sketch so it was perfect! I used her bases for the poses on 1 and 3! ^v^ modified them a bit though but the link on her base will be below in the description of course! ^^d This new style face I wanted to be something simple and fun to draw and I got inspired by CookieHana 's chibis and that's how they turned out :'3 I hope u like them! ♥ I wont be probably doing more Merinori's for a while since they are going through name change and they need updated ref sheet but I wanted to do some for this MerMay event ^^d I gave each one a small theme, in this batch we have the Idol/musical theme, Angel theme, Star/zodiac theme and the up coming batch tomorrow has a lotus flower/nature theme, Jellyfish theme and possibly a demon theme (this is still undecided)

Merinori changes (been mentioned before but I mention it again and until I have made their new ref sheet) :

★ Highly requested clothes change has been finally OFFICIALLY APPLIED! You can but you are not required to use oriental clothing on Merinoris. This used to be one of their main features before but after high amount of requests of changing this I decided to change it. So from now on you can use ANY CLOTHING you wish to use on Merinoris. Merinoris from now on will be mainly drawn either naked or with naked version next to clothed one.

★ Enchanting Magic System! New system allows your Merinori to gain magic tattoos! Before some Merinoris had patterns on their tail only here and there but this new system allows the same tattoo patterns on your merinoris tail and completely new patterns appear on your Merinoris skin. All old Merinoris will be able to get these patterns as well! All you have to do is draw/commission/write a story of your Merinori practicing their own magic to make it stronger. If you haven't chosen magic for your Merinori yet you can do so when ever you start to practice this enchanting! After 3 times enchanting magic (either you have drawn, written or commissioned your merinori practicing magic) you will be allowed to draw your Merinori with any new tattoo patterns of your liking! NOTICE: Do not draw the extraly same patterns than others have already. The patterns can be applied anywhere on your Merinoris skin or tail. Pattern design is up to you! 

I don't mind at all if u wont use them as Merinoris, they can be just a mermaid adopt too! After it's yours, it's usage is fully up to you!


Merinori's are a closed species and you can not make one without a permission.
